Facts : LIGHT IN AFRICA CHILDREN'S HOMES based in two regions of Tanzania, E.Africa, is situated on the Northern circuit. We operate seven children's home's and care for special needs children. Five homes with able bodied children's from birth to trade school - college or university.

NEWLAND FARM is Light in Africa Childrens’ Home’s three and a half acre farm and piggery. In just the first year of operation we were able to provide substantial amount of food for our children by providing crops, chicken and duck eggs for each home and 66 pigs providing meat for our children and the community all chemical free.
Hi my name is Paul . I have had the privilage of volunteering at Light In Africa for 10 years . And everytime i visit i see the progress Mama Lynn and her staff have made . Through their dedication and hard work caring for more and more children and adults in need .
I would whole heartedly recommend volunteering at Newland Farm . Helping to give the chidren whoesome organic food .

Hi,My name is Jacob I was brought up from an early age in the care of Light in Africa.On leaving secondary school I trained to be a medical clinician with life-skill training that we all in care receive,my hobby is growing pigs as an extra income.I can highly recommend a volunteer placement at Newland farm, you will learn a lot and gain a vast experience in growing nature all chemical free.Thanks everyone.
